Project Description:
The Orange County Sanitation Department required expansion due to the high concentration of populous in the Los Angeles area. Schnabel Foundation Company brought a full size micropile rig in to install micropiles inside an existing structure where previous designs called for auger cast piles. Battered micropiles were installed to get around tight existing foundations to support the new effluent channel.
