Project Description:
The construction of a new pump station required an excavation 47 ft deep with varying shored heights up to 34 ft deep. The soil conditions consisted of mostly sands and silts. Schnabel Foundation Company designed and constructed a soldier beam shoring system with tiebacks, internal bracing and with both shotcrete and timber lagging.
