Project Description:
Schnabel Foundation Company designed and constructed an 8,700 sf permanent soldier beam and tieback wall to maintain a grade separation between an existing access road and new water quality laboratory structures at the facility. The 700-ft long wall was constructed with a structural shotcrete facing that included sculpted and stained rock pattern to blend in with the existing Southern Nevada desert environment. A substantial portion of the wall was constructed along a curved alignment within the specified tolerances.
