Project Description:
For this 36-foot deep, three-sided excavation through layers of stiff silty clay and sandy clay, Schnabel Foundation Company designed and constructed over 10,000 sf of temporary shoring consisting of soldier beams and lagging with three rows of tiebacks. The soldier beams were installed in drilled holes constructed in a single pass using a continuous flight auger.
