Background

The project required excavation depths of up to 50 feet in an urban environment, adjacent to the Beltline pathway, city streets, and residential structures.

Schnabel’s Solution

Schnabel designed and constructed both permanent and temporary earth retention systems, including 50,000 square feet of soil nail walls, to safely support the excavation and surrounding infrastructure.

Results

The earth retention systems successfully stabilized the site, allowing construction to proceed safely without impacting adjacent structures or pathways.
