A leading Geostructural Design & Construction contractor, Schnabel has the expertise to provide effective landslide repair and control services, based on unique project needs and challenging environmental conditions.
Landslide Stabilization Solutions
Landslides occur when the driving forces on a soil mass exceed the internal resisting forces, causing the land to move. Schnabel provides specialized services to stop or prevent landslides, using proven techniques such as tiebacks, soldier piles, secant piles, and soil nailing.
We offer the following services:

Tieback Anchors
Tiebacks provide a cost-effective way to stabilize slopes, anchoring into soil or rock for strong resistance with minimal disturbance, often allowing slopes to be re-vegetated for a natural finish.

Soldier Piles
Ideal for deep, stable support, soldier piles can be used as a temporary or permanent solution to hold back soil and prevent movement in areas where excavation is challenging.

Secant Piles
Secant piles create a continuous barrier to stabilize slopes and prevent soil from moving. These piles can be installed in combination with tiebacks for extra support.

Soil Nailing
Soil nailing reinforces the slope by adding additional layers of reinforcement to hold the soil in place, preventing landslide movement in vulnerable areas.

Micropiles
Micropiles are used in conjunction with tiebacks to provide additional anchorage in areas with poor soil conditions.
