Background

The client contracted Schnabel to provide excavation support and permanent shotcrete walls for the Riverfront Place project, which included the development of a 5-story residential building and a 7-story commercial office building.

Schnabel’s Solution

Schnabel designed and constructed excavation support systems and installed nearly 39,000 square feet of permanent shotcrete walls to safely retain soil and serve as part of the finished structures.

Results

The excavation and shotcrete systems were successfully completed, ensuring safe construction and long-term stability for both buildings.
